The Concours d’Elegance is not a trial of performance, but of elegance.
Sunday, October 6, 2019
10:30 am - 5:30 pm
Sunday’s Concours d’Elegance is the crown jewel of Audrain’s Newport Concours & Motor Week. Our Concours Chairman, Donald Osborne, has assembled a terrific selection of judges from around the globe. The Concours classes span the decades from early 1900 to 1970 with a focus on cars that pay homage to the theme of history, sport, and luxury.
Donald and his selection committee have scoured the earth for special cars that are sure to amaze the throngs of enthusiasts from around the world in attendance. First, second, and third-class trophies and ribbons will be awarded with the first in class winners competing for the Willie K. Vanderbilt Trophy. There will also be one of a kind awards given by some very special guests and judges. The awards presentation will be announced by our Event Chairman, Jay Leno, and Concours Chairman, Donald Osborne.
